I gotta admit, I was really really hoping to like this one. I love the title, love the cover, and I love high fantasy and I so wanted this to be good. Fortunately, I wasn't disappointed. It has a strong female protagonist, an interesting setting and... a love triangle. Have I mentioned that I actually like love triangles? So... This book didn't grab me quite like it did with a lot of other readers. And I'm not sure why. I kinda think it was me. The concept was interesting and the book was interesting it just didn't grab ahold of my soul like some books are so good at doing. (Also, I called the twist shamefully early which was kind of a bummer). It's not bad though and I can definitely see why so many people like it so much.
