I always knew I would, but I absolutely LOVED it. I put this off for so long, even though I've had it since it came out but I never got around to reading it.

I can't wait to continue the series. There were so many great characters, but of course Meira, kicked ass!!! I also loved Mather, Theron (!), Sir and even Nessa, all great potential series characters. This was a good addition to the epic fantasy genre. Though I had a few qualms, particularly about not feeling all the feels (and because I like my epic fantasy in third person...), it was a very good read. I liked the battle at the end, and I'm totally on Team Theron. Mather just strikes me as whiny. But the world-building is fabulous, and Sara Raasch is really talented with her prose.

So yeah. Definitely go read it if you're a lover of epic fantasy.
