Well my sister was right, this book was amazing! Dark and alluring from page one. I truly enjoyed to gothic spin to an already "creepy" fairytale. I was never a big fan of Alice in Wonderland, but this book was epic from the very first page.

I'm definitely Team Jeb all the way! Morpheus was one shady character and I never trusted him. However, he is one of those characters you just love to hate.

I have mixed feelings about this book.

The prose is lovely. One star.
THE WORLD BUILDING AND THE BOOK'S RELATIONSHIP WITH ALICE IN WONDERLAND IS ASDFGHJKL. Two stars.
THE PLOT. Two stars.
The love triangle? Negative one star.
The protagonist? Negative one star.

Honestly, in my opinion, it would have been a better read if it weren't for the romance...
And yes, I actually liked Morpheus better than Jeb. But don't assume that that is the reason for the above statement, okay? It's just... I dunno. I wasn't ...more

All I know is that I want Morpheus. All I know is that if she doesn't end up with him, I will be sad.
what I also know is this is a very, very unique book. I loved it from beginning to end. except that I want her to be with Morpheus.
As a Shatter Me fan, I have to say the love triangle of good boy vs bad is sorta familiar--especially with the scene where Alyssa kisses Morph just to get her wish like Juliette did for Warner's gun. Anyway, I vote Bad Boy all the way because they make life more inter ...more

I was never a fan of Alice in wonderland but after reading this book the story fascinated me. Now I am a fan of Alice in Wonderland.This is a great book filled with every thing you want in a book. It has action, adventure, danger and a love story to top it all of.
