Beautiful. Angsty. All kinds of Weird.

Man.. This is a really twisted version of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. I can't help admiring this book and the way it was written. Sure, this really dark and dramatic, but the words are beautiful. So, A.G. Howard:

What can I say about this book? It's AMAZING, duh! This is the second book that I've read that takes on the story of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, the first being Alice in Zombieland. In my opinion, I liked this one more. Howard creates a world of fantasy and adventure and the writing style makes you believe what you're reading is real.

I loved this book and Morpheus!
Wait, never mind that was my original reaction....
After thinking about the book several months later and being unable to remember anything other than how weird everyone is, I decided I don't like this book too much. Morpheus was cool, but I didn't really connect with the main characters (or the secondary ones for that matter). This book might've been better if I was a morbid, bug-killing psychopath, but instead I'm a Alice-in-wonderland-hating (at least the animate ...more
