So... This book was spectacular and nothing like how I imagined. It took me by surprise and kept leading me places I didn't know it could take me. I read this book in just over 24 hours (I really should be sleeping) but this book wouldn't let me go. Now, I know some people can read a book in 4 hours, but I tend to be the one who reads a book in 4 days (even the ones I'm absolutely in love with). "Cruel Beauty" is the first book in the "Cruel Beauty Universe" series my Rosamund Hudge.

I seriously do not know where to start with this review....But, firstly I would like to applaud the author, Rosamund Hudge for the narration of this book....because, the book was written brilliantly....loved the narrativity.

However, the story did my head in.....I didn't understand what was going on...but I still kept reading....for instance, I hated the beginning, I had to take several breaks while reading ...more
