Wow! This was so amazing! My actual rating: 4.25 :)

I honestly enjoyed this book, because it was so different. The only reason that it wasn't a 5, was because the beginning was a big slow. It wasn't too bad though, because the author had to set everything up.
I loved the writing style, because it kept me on the edge of my seat. I had a hard time putting this one down! I highly re recommend it for any YA lover! I can't wait to read the next one! ...more

I have this book marked under my 2013 shelf. I haven't been reading lately & and when I finally picked this book off my shelf, it reminded me of why I started reading in the first place. The whole magical-ness of it all: the world, the characters, the story...everything. It's why I started reading and this has brought me back to life <3 The only reason I marked it as DNF in 2013 was because the beginning was super slow paced & "confusing", if that makes any sense.
