Wow! This was so amazing! My actual rating: 4.25 :)
I honestly enjoyed this book, because it was so different. The only reason that it wasn't a 5, was because the beginning was a big slow. It wasn't too bad though, because the author had to set everything up.
I loved the writing style, because it kept me on the edge of my seat. I had a hard time putting this one down! I highly re recommend it for any YA lover! I can't wait to read the next one! ...more

This is a very imaginative book. The world and the magic are well thought out and are horribly wonderful. I liked the characters, even the minor ones, and if there was a weakness it would be the suddenness of the relationships. (But I don’t see any other way for it to have happened.)
I believe it’s best to read this book knowing as less about it as possible, so I recommend you skip the summary and just trust me and go out and get it.

Daughter of Smoke and Bone has been sitting on my shelf for years now. I purchase the complete trilogy from Book Outlet and couldn't wait to crack this series open, especially with all the hype about how magnificent the series was. However like most of the books I have been reading lately, this series got pushed to the bottom of my TBR list.

I love this book! The mystery is amazing and it keeps you on edge. there was never a dull moment. I hope the next books are as good!
