This was a gasp, laugh and cry out loud book! Okay, it is a little like 'Fallen',or 'My name is Memory', but its less biblical and more mythical. I love the main character,Karou, and her friend Zuzana and i loveeeee Akiva!! He's just so beautiful, and smart, and sensitive but also he's a very serious, smart guy! I loved the way that one character is not just one thing, but they all are complex, just like any human is. So yeah, its a true yet fictional book, full of surprises!! 'Elsewhere' is just a magi

I liked the cliff hangers that each chapter had, or almost each chapter. I will be reading the second book.

It was kinda hard to get used to cause I honestly grew to love Madrigal more than Karou. And then there's Akiva. Dear, dear Akiva. With Madrigal, I loved him. He was witty, attractive, looming and just had a great vibe I guess. With Karou, I mean I understand that after Madrigal he'd gone dead inside, but I hope that changes. But who knows if he'll ge
