Soooo. It's done. It's over. And it was so good! I really liked it.

For starters, I advise everyone to read the "Infernal Devices" before this last book, you'll be spoiled either way, but there were a LOT of Will+Tessa+Jem feellings. Like, I think I cried everytime they mentioned one of their names and there was a “We are all the pieces of what we remember. We hold in ourselves the hopes and fears of those who love us. Soooo. It's done. It's over. And it was so good! I really liked it.

For starters, I advise everyone to read the "Infernal Devices" before this last book, you'll be spoiled either way, but there were a LOT of Will+Tessa+Jem feellings. Like, I think I cried everytime they mentioned one of their names and there was a lot of nostalgia involved.

I really liked the action, the political intrigue and all that jazz. The romance was also amazing as ever. Really loved seeing all my favorite characters getting their closure.

This book was a complete stress for me, I was always on edge, never sure how everything would turn out, but I was pleasantly surprised. (view spoiler) The humour was great as always, with some great light moments to acompany the darker ones.

As for the ending, I cried like a baby. It was heartbreaking, amazing and super emotional.

I'm actually writing this review a week after I finished reading, mostly because I needed time to get over the shock and all the feelings, but I also had a lot to think about. Becuase there were some minor points I wasn't really satisfied with, nothing major but still... For example, I found myself exasperaded at some parts while reading, not because it was bad, just because a chapter endend in a cliff and I had to read more than 30 pages to get to that point of view again; this is just a personal problem, but not something you need to worry about. Plus, I really liked Emma and Julian, and I'm actualy pretty excited to get my hands on "The Dark Artificies".

All in all, this was an incredible series, with incredible characters I'll never forget, and it was a pleasure to belong to such a great adventure. ...more

By the angel this book was really amazing!!! I loved reading every moment of it and I loved that it all worked out right. This book had me on the edge most of the time with all the unexpected events taking place. I also adore that the book was in all different point of views. I liked to read what Jace thought and what Clary thought and Simon, Izzy, Alec, Magnus, and so on.... This was one of my favorite book right now because there was so much action that had me on the edge most of the time and ...more

I have loved this series as well as the prequel. And I am very happy with the way it ended. When I heard it was the last I figured that I would cry a lot. Don't get me wrong I did cry, but I also laughed. It was a wonderful story and I love a happy ending! I highly recommend this series. Well done. ...more
