I really like this book. It was fast-paced, exciting, and the storyline never bored me.
One of my two problems with this book:
Celaena Sardothien.
This so-called assassin wasn't as kick-ass as I expected her to be. In fact, she was very un-kickass.
She was less of this:

My husband and I read this book together and wow what a great book! We both really enjoyed it, and the 2nd book is even better! This series has something for everyone! Romance which I loved, (little bit of a love triangle and its one of the few books that did it right) Mystery and a huge creep factor, fantasy, magic, adventure, action, you name it this book has it!
