One of the popular books which I couldn't even bear to finish. The writing is confusing and hannah sounds like a spoiled brat really. I may finish it one day but its just sooo boring and pointless!!!
I'm over my should-finish-every-book policy. There are so many GOOD books out there, I'm not wasting my time reading bad ones. ...more

Introduction

Clay Jenson knows that Hannah Baker is dead, which makes it very eerie when he gets a package of cassette tapes, with Hannah Baker's voice on them, telling stories, revealing secrets. He doesn't want anything to do with the tapes, but her voice tells him that he is the topic of one of the tapes

Hannah committed suicide, but before she did, she recorded seven tapes. On them are thirteen reasons why.

I'm gonna try to never say kill me or I'm going to die at little things. If you know me then you know I have a tendency to overreact and after this book I see how suicide is a serious feeling people go through and it isn't easy. Really emotionally exhausting. ...more
