Reread March 2017 - so good and so sad. Can't wait for the TV show!

I just finished this book and I'm still feeling befuddled. I am bouncing between a 3 or 4 star rating for the simple fact that I feel sad. To me this book is like the movie the Titanic. No matter how much you love or even accept all the characters or the story line-in the end you know the ship is going to sink and tragedy will strike. So this book is one I don't know how to review...love/hate relationship to the extreme. I will say this-this book just reaffirmed my belief that we all need to be

I honestly loved this book. C:
I know this sounds cheesey, but
I kinda connected with hannah on some levels..
But only a few. :P
I think that. Everyone should read this book,
And if you don't love it ..
I will come smack you. :D ...more

Probably 4.5. I’ve had to think about this one for awhile. It’s a book to ponder over, whether you like it or not. I liked the idea that you never know what is happening with someone else and that actions--even seemingly small ones--have consequences. I really liked Clay. I liked that this book gives teens (everyone, really!) something to think about. Amazing book! Probably my favorite book that I read this summer. The story kept me so interested in finding out why Hannah ended her life. I did not want to stop reading and finished it in less that 24hrs. When I did put it down, my son would start reading it and I had to remind him that I was reading it.

This book was recommended to me by my good friend. She said it made her try and be a better person. I honestly did not have that same concept. I always think of the way I approach people. This book did not help that. This book seems utterly ridiculous in that sense. Hannah, seems like a bully herself honestly. I didn't sympathize with her. Most of the book is silly childhood nonsense and Hannah does not consider what kind of effect she might have on others. Clay is likeable, but he takes so much

Amazing! This book was well done Jay Asher. Two perspectives on the same events. I was pulled into Hannah's story. Her emotional struggle. She made a friend only to be betrayed my the same friend. She continued to give people chances, for them to only prove to her the world is not worth living in anymore. My heart went out to Clay as he listened in suspense, wondering if there was somthing he did to betray her. Someone he could have started to love...
