This was really good and imaginative and poignant. I really liked Tana because she was just super legit. I liked how they had quotes about death before every chapter. I liked how they tied in and the storyworld. Very satisfying read and I’d read it again. I feel like if I hadn’t taken so long to read it the impact would have been better.
What can I say? Impressive start and beautiful, wrenching writing that makes even vampires who kill recklessly with literally blood all over their hands acceptable. This is no comparison to Twilight because they are so different. I am well aware of this book's flaws and plotholes (say, the flashbacks were annoying at times, though they added depth, they also halted the flow; and say, coldtowns themselves are problematic) but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. i really enjoyed this book . Tana was a strong determined girl who cared not only for the safety of her family but also for he friends wich made me love her more .
Gavriel , Gavriel , Gavriel Sighhhhh ,he's crazy ,spontaneous and unexpected but in a perfect way .
the stroy kept me interested and on edge but it was also an easy ready , finished in 1 day , so once again it's a great book . READ IT PEOPLE !!

More like 2.5, this book felt like it. Tool forever. It was ok, but I don't get the hype about it.
