I am still reeling from this book! I have a book hangover from this one! It's intense and awesome! So let's say that you have a best friend that you've grown up with and love. Now this best friend grows up to be a genius that invents a time machine but they also grow up to be a monster. They make war and torture you. Now let's say you can use that time machine and go back to when you were teens and kill said monster before any of these casualties happen. Do you kill them even though they are inn ...more

Oh god.

This is seriously one of the best books I've read this year. Or ever.

Amazing, wonderful, brilliant.

So basically, the world is in ruins because of a person Em and Finn, our protagonists, used to know, and they must go back in time to stop him. Something that their past versions have tried and failed to do so. The only thing left that they can do to stop him? They have to kill him.

Time travel! That's all I needed to hear for me to immediately read this book. Obviously, I'm a Doctor Who fan.

4.5 – I loved this one! I was completely riveted by the story--I had NO idea what would happen. It was VERY intense!! I loved the shifting POV between Em and Marina. LOVED the characters, particularly Finn. And the premise and time-travel aspects of the story were FANTASTIC. The way the story unfolded was just perfect--the gradual reveals, the horrifying realizations, the loyal friendships, and the sweet romantic moments. Just an AWESOME read!

My only big complaint about the book (besides a few p

I absolutely loved this book. The premise of time travel was excellent and the characters were perfect. They were all great to root for and I felt like I got to know each one of them. The only drawback was the cliche love triangle but even it was done really well. The story wrapped up wonderfully at the end so I don't see how there would be a sequel but I will definitely read more from this author. Highly recommended. ...more
