i LOVED this book.... and the characters in it.
although it was very similar to vampire academy
1. after spending weeks/months away from the academy, Alex returns after the senteinels find her. when she returns Aiden agrees to her combat.fighting coach so she can catch up on the months she missed school....now the vampire academy version-- after Rose returns to the academy with Lissa, Dimitri agrees to be her fighting coach and of course any relationship is not allowed.

WOW!!! Now this book I really could not put down I read it in less than 2 days which is very fast for me on the count that I also have work. I could not put it down and I nearly forgot I have to eat to. HAHAHA!!!

Aiden is to die for!!! He is one of the best pure-bloods there, I just dont like that the pure-bloods and half-bloods aren't aloud to date! I mean Alex and Aiden totally deserve each other. This book also reminded me so much of Vampire Academy but I'm glad there was differences but Jenn ...more

The beginning of this book was very slow. The first 5 or 6 chapters reminded me of Vampire Academy. I didn't really begin to notice a difference until chapter 10. The story definitely picked up and boy, there were some twists and turns. I really like the way the story unfolded. Aiden is such a freaking sweetheart, but Seth is the one who has my undivided attention. There s something about him. Besides his good looks and great body, I think he has a great story to tell. I read Obsidian and was instantly hooked on that book. So I decide to checkout her Convenant Series, buuuuut it was boring. The beginning was WAY too much like Vampire Academy but not as well written... I couldn't finish it. I think the insta-love between Alex and Aiden got me to drop this book... *sigh* ...more
