What Members Thought

OMG this book was perfect, everything about it,it even smelled nice ♥ After the Fault in our Stars, i never thought i'll find a better book,a book that will make me cry so much, that will fill me and empty me simultaneously . The Book Thief made me cry, made me think differently, see things differently, hear things, feel things, smell things differently. This book is a masterpiece, a gift to all humanity. Everyone should read it!!! It broke my heart and put it back together again. I loved everything EV

Eee gads. 184 - now 185 library holds on this.
It's immaterial whether this book is wonderful or this book is bad or if this book is simply subjective in this rating(as all books are), it looks extraordinary and v. v. interesting. Now all that's left in the review is to read it...

Oh yes. I'm finished. It was devastating. Thank you, Markus Zusak.

This book really squeezed all the water out of my eyes. Gah. I'm really impressed by Zusak's omniscient narration through Death. It gives me the chills and awe. Sometimes, though, Death LOVES to spoil things. Because as he mentioned, he doesn't like surprises. But well, it didn't lessen the feels the story's heart-wrenching climax will give. It's a tragic story, obviously. But it gives me also the laughs and giggles. I like it, like it, like it! <3

I don't really want to rate it 5 stars, even though its worth it, because I think of it like comparing this book to my other books that I rated 5 stars. And they aren't at all the same. I really loved it though.
No, I did not cry. Even though it was very sad, and I was listening to Au Revoir by One Republic and 30 Lives by Imagine Dragons while I was reading the end of it, it still didn't make me cry. ...more
