I read the Lux books last summer and found them wildly entertaining and filled with awesome characters. Saying I was excited for the release of this book would be an understatement. I think that my taste in books has changed since then though. Before (as in last year) I was very easily entertained and loved basically every book I'd read. Best Book About Aliens EVER!
So this is the first Jennifer L. Armentrout book I've read and im wondering where my life has been without her. I love the way her writting is vivid, capitvating and SO FUNNY! When I read the discription I thought I was going to read a book that was full of cliches. You know, girl has a dead relative, is sad and depressed, girl meets boy, fall in love, boy is not normal, they love each other but they cant be together yada yada yada... stuff like that. Best Book About Aliens EVER!

When this book was recommened to me the first time I read it all I could think about was .. aliens ?!
I wasn’t so excited about reading about green weird creatures. But Lya – that is my friend who was willing to use force to make me read it- kept saying how great it was and how dreamy Daemon is. So I gave it a shot.
I heard lots of people saying that it was like Twilight, and anyone who really knows me knows im not a twilight fan at all. But like I said I had already decided to read it.

OMG i loved this book so much, i was a bit hesitante at first but the more i read the more i loved it, and i can't wait to get the next one. i can easliy see this as a new series faveourite. :)

This book was definitely something different. I haven't read many alien books so it did give a new perspective. This book had pluses and minuses. On the minus side (might as well get the bandage ripped off) some of it was a bit YA cliche. Katy was a good protagonist but she was 'typical' with her dull I don't think I'm pretty features. *by the way: I love being a brunette! I don't find my hair dull at all! this was the perfect book to break by reading slump as i literally did not put it down. the main character being a book blogger was amazing and helps basically guarantee that the reader will be able to have some connecting with the main character. our love interest is a first class jerk and as a lover of Love/Hate relationships i kind of like this, however unless he becomes more likable in the future i am not sure if he will ever reach the same level as many other love interests within the YA ca

God I love Deamon so much he is so sexy and he is so totally in love with Katy! I love how he keeps calling here Kitten, it's just so cute and God when she and Deamon kiss its so amazing and I long for someone to kiss me like that. I loved this book because its different than what I'm use to reading. I've been dying to read this book then I finally got the opportunity too...I am just gonna say this book was AMAZING and *whew* the sexual tension between Kat and Daemon was WOW...I've read a lot of Sci-Fi books but I always try to avoid any Sci-Fi that as anything to do with Aliens..but gosh this was worth the read, so 5 stars worthy.
