This is like Twilight, but good. I mean, yes - it is clearly a copy of Stephenie Meyer's vampire series, but Armentrout turned it into something... readable. The characters in Obsidian actually come with personalities and they grow on you. And they don't have these extremely pale looks that scream Vampire! If you can pass through all the clichés of the genre, you will find this book quite enjoyable. ...more

Obsidian was just too much fun!!

I absolutely loved the characters, and the plot. This book is such a great read for when you need a pick-me-up. I love Dameon and Katy! They are so great and I love the sci-fi aspect as well! I highly recommend this to any YA fan!

OMG! I LOVED this series right from the begining, i read a few pages and i completely ingnored the book i was formerly reading. Deamon was such a jerk and i was so pissed at him. Burt i knew deep down they where so gonna go out together. It's a to read.
I love Katy cause she's such a book Geek and i ccould connect with her character.
I love the whole alien next door, love/hate relationship that was happening it made the book more exciting and different in some way.
Also i love the ending and DEAMO
