Cassie Alexander’s has quickly become one of my favorite urban fantasy authors. I have mountains of books… A few mountain ranges likely. :P And I always move her books to the top of my pile. I love her creative world building, the visceral way she writes emotions and the moments of near poetry in her descriptions. Shapeshifted is the third book in this series and it didn’t disappoint me.

This is NOT a standalone book!
That being said… for those of you that have read Books 1 & 2: did you really think a shunning would keep Edie down?! Please!
Even without Anna's protection, even without the Shadows, Edie still manages to get herself caught up in supernatural conflicts, this time with Santa Muerte. Not to mention some surprise guests….I can't even!
Like the other books, it's written 1st POV through Edie, so be prepared if t ...more

Another outstanding story of Edie's (mis)adventures! I thoroughly enjoyed it and am eagerly anticipating the next one.
