"spoiler alert"

I really enjoyed this book. It kept me interested the whole way through and I am really looking forward to reading the next installment.

The book starts out with Matthew being an ordinary teen. Then his best friend dies. Then his father falls into a coma. Then he finds out that he is a dreamscaper. He ends up moving and going to a new school that is special to his abilities. There he meets other kids that have abilities also. He then finds out that his Dad is in a coma because it

First of all, thanks to Mr. Cypert for giving me a free copy to read.

I have to say that I'm not used to read fantasy books, but I liked this one a lot. It was very original! The whole alternate reality is very well constructed, but the alternate reality also interacts with the real world.

Scapemaker is about a boy, Matthew Namely, that is forced to discover a dark and magical world in his dreams to prove that his father, that's resting in a "hospital" in the real world (after falling into a coma)

What a wonderful read. It starts a bit slow, which is needed to build out the setting/characters. Watch out - it becomes a real page turner. I couldn't put it down- and when I finished I was checking to see when the next book comes out.

Wow! What a story!! I was given a copy of this book by the author in return for an honest review. This is a book that, once you pick up, you wont want to put down. The characters were engaging and the narrative was descriptive enough to 'put you there' and the story itself was awesome. You'll be introduced to Night Terrors, Ghosts, Zombies and Skin Walkers to name just some of the characters. Mr Cypert made the world of Scapemaker believable and almost real!! I am now eagerly awaiting the next i ...more

This book started out really slow but got interesting towards the middle and end. I kind of got a bit of a Harry Potter vibe so the plot was pretty interesting. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
