First of all, thanks to Mr. Cypert for giving me a free copy to read.

I have to say that I'm not used to read fantasy books, but I liked this one a lot. It was very original! The whole alternate reality is very well constructed, but the alternate reality also interacts with the real world.

Scapemaker is about a boy, Matthew Namely, that is forced to discover a dark and magical world in his dreams to prove that his father, that's resting in a "hospital" in the real world (after falling into a coma) ...more

I received a copy of Scapemaker from the author in exchange for an honest review. I had no prior knowledge of Mr. Cypert or his work.
I really enjoyed this book. There was so much information in such detail that at times it was slightly confusing. I would go back in the story to refresh my memory and easily figure out what I hadn't paid enough attention to the first time through.

Had a lot of twists and turns. I was wondering where it was going at the beginning of the book but it worked out really fast. I liked it suspense this book had. It really makes me rethink where dreams come from.
