An excellent novella with a strong voice and fascinating world. The only small flaw is that the ending felt a bit rushed, but I still had a great time reading it and I heartily recommend it.

I had not read the first (be set in the future) book in this series, so came in with very little expectations. This book was great, I loved the setting and characters. Having now read the second book (Who Fears Death), this one is definitely my favorite.
