HOLY SHIT THIS BOOK!!!!! IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN I EXPECTED!!!!

re-read edit: This book is as amazing as it was the first time, maybe even more so? I am able to see all these gorgeous foreshadowing Chee puts in the book from the beginning. Even though it seems as if it is a typical fantasy world with magic and a tyrannical king, the world that Chee creates is different. This is because the reader not only discovers the secrets to this fantasy world, but the reader gets to rediscover literacy and the significance of a symbol which represents a s ...more
