I definitely enjoyed this book, it was fastpaced and entertaining and there was romance and humor and mystery and yes, it was very, very good. However, I am 13 years old, I have seen some '80s movies (Wargames, 16 Candles, The Breakfast Club etc.) but once for most of them and three times max (for The Breakfast Club because that movie is just awesome.) Anyway, I was quite out of all of the '80s references, which meant that I spent some time confused. I think that while this is a book that can be

Placed in a dystopia world, Wade Watts basically lives in a video game. The creator dies, and now there is a big easter hunt for the three keys and gates. The hunt is on and then the next thing Wade Watts knows is that he's a famous superstar.
This is a great read for middle schoolers. I love the writing style and the story line. You will fall in love with Wade and his friends as they push together to get to the egg. ...more

This book was so good. It was a well thought out and interesting concept of where the world has evolved to the internet and online becoming the lives of some people. The internet can either help someone or kill someone. I liked how the real story is in the real world but the conflict is put online into a game.
It is really fun to read. Once you started reading this book, it is hard to stop reading it. If I could, since I borrowed from the library, I wish I could buy this book and keep it. 3D stimulation game is something that I always dream and wish that would exist in real world. It was really great to read.
I loved this book. It was written so well and you really got to know all of the characters. Something else that I loved is that there was an aspect for everyone. I also loved that it explained video games so well because I certainly don't play video games but I didn't find myself confused or lost on the video front. Overall such a great book!
