Guy travels the world doing new things but still leaves the same questions unanswered.
At 395,000 words, it's not a quick read for someone like me who reads slowly to invest in a story. I have to say I love Rothfuss' writing and have yet to tire of his prose. However, the second half of this monster came unhinged when it became largely grounded around the main character's sexual exploits, the sexual exploits of others, (or him being exploited, as a 16-year old boy). As with book 1 in this series, I really enjoyed reading this one. As an author of fantasy myself, I can appreciate even more the craft that this author put into his work. The ending left me wondering about several things but mostly when will book 3 be out. I hope this isn't going to follow the trend where final books never get published.
