I truly loved this book!! I found it hard to put down at points and it made me want to jump right into the next one!!! Celaena is easily one of my favorite fictional characters of all time!!!
Okay, so after my lukewarm response to Throne of Glass, I was hoping for some upping of the ante with this sequel.
And boyyyyyyyyy, did I get it in a big way.
Celaena is absolutely no-hold-barred in this one. I feel like the tameness (semi-lameness) of ToG was all just leading up to that scene in the warehouse. I actually feel better reading about the badassery now because I saw how Celaena worked herself back up from a pile of bones to be a really great assassin (again). And now we get the pay-of ...more
