This book was amazing, but not at all what I expected. I've read A LOT of Holocaust stories, and while I enjoy the genre, it can be repetitive. But this book was different, in so many ways. The narration and flow of the story was different from most books, and it gave a new perspective to World War Two. However, I can understand why some people hate it. But when a book makes me cry that much and leaves me thinking about what the characters have said, I know it was amazing. ...more
