Oh, how do I review this without any spoilers? I think short and sweet is the key. Disturbing in oh so many ways (as is any good Flynn book) and completely unputdownable. The only reason I could not bring myself to give this five stars was that a certain vile someone did not get what I felt was owing to them in the end. I really enjoyed this book. I am glad that I read before I saw the movie, however I have found that movies ruin books for the most part. That's just my opinion.

This book was recommended to me by a friend whose opinion I value, and she did not disappoint me.
This is an excellently and cleverly told story of a girl gone missing. As the time progresses since her mysterious disappearance we read parallel to the husband's story the diary of said gone girl.
As the diary entries progress we get a better idea of what has happened.
