Right before I go into how great this book was. I want to point out to anyone who may have been as stupid as me who didn't realise that Pittacus Lore named Lorein after himself. Literally took me half the book to realise that he had done this.

On with the review

This book brings in the idea that there is in fact other worlds out there and some their inhabitants have had to come here when their old world has been destructed. Like other sci-fi books these aliens are more powerful than humans with L Right before I go into how great this book was. This book brings in the idea that there is in fact other worlds out there and some their inhabitants have had to come here when their old world has been destructed. Like other sci-fi books these aliens are more powerful than humans with Legacies which encourates a sort of superhero aspect to the book aswell.

The beginning of the book is great with the suspense with knowing that three of the nine are dead. Now following number four he is next on the list and constantly ready to have to pack up and move on. Four begins with name Daniel Jones but has to change his name once three is dead he changes it to John Smith.

Once he moves into a new town with his Cepan, Henri, his legacies, which he gets Lumen.

At first I didn't know what good that would be as well what good is light in your hands that can't always be turned off but it turns out it is more useful then it first would seem.

This book was full of a range of emotional moments. I think one of the funniest was when Henri met John's friend Sam and they started talking about alien conspiracies and Sam mentions the Mogodorians. You can just imagine Henri and John's face when this happened.

It is safe to say that this is great book and I would recommend this to anyone who likes sci-fi or superhero books. Plus it is full of romance and comedy aswell. ...more

This book was actually so much better than he movie, I wasn't expecting much after such a rubbish movie, but the book was great! I can't wait to read the next book! (Thanks to Katie for recommending this to me! :D) ...more
