So this has been on my TBR for sooooo long. I got this one as an audio book and I'm really glad I did.
I LOVED this book.
It was so realistic and I felt like I went through so many emotions reading/listening to this story unfold.
Anna is such a sweet person and takes such wonderful care of TJ. It's wonderful going on the journey of him becoming a young man and the bond they develop with each other.
It was slow building and so sweet and innocent but so right.

Wow. Amazing. Awesome. LOVED IT!!!
Literally could not put the book down, it has you reeled in from the very beginning, and it just doesn't stop. This book is intense, suspenceful, heartbreaking, heartwarming, and full of anticipation.
What I enjoyed most was the alternating POV's from Anna and TJ. I love getting into the heads of the main characters and knowing exactly how they feel and what they think.
The story of Anna and TJ is somewhat reminiscent of a Blue Lagoon adventure, but with a more ...more

This book couldn't have come at a better time. I loved loved loved this book. Amazing!!!! I really enjoyed every part of it. I read it in one day and I for sure did not want it to end...ever. I could read about TJ and Anna all day. Definitely one of my favorites..I may need to read it again. Can i give this book ten stars? :)

I have had this book on my TBR list for a very long time. After many recommendations from friends to read On the Island, I finally decided to start it while on vacation. My question to myself if "what took me so long to read this book?" On The Island is a beautiful story of two people who manage to make the best out of a horrible situation. The writing is flawless. The story is truly unique and beautiful. The characters are real and genuine. I read it in one day and am looking forward to reading
