I don't know really how to rate books like this one. On the one hand, I am completely hooked on the story. I like the mysteries and the twists and turns. On the other hand , I'm disgusted with some of the directions that those twists and turns took. The thing that bothered me the most was the attempted redemption of Tony into a doting and concerned husband who has been changed by love. Oh my I don't even know what to say about this series. This first book had me absolutely HATING Anthony Rawlings and by the end I was totally confused. Now having finished the second book, things have come to light and I'm still confused because I'm now thinking that maybe things aren't as they seem. Oh don't take that as the FUBAR things that transpired between Claire & Tony in book one didn't happen, they did. But still things don't seem to be what you think they are.
