I was really looking forward to this book after seeing lots about it but I was left a bit disappointed with the over all book.
I just felt that Cole/Colts behaviour in the first half of the book was irrational and very jumpy. I know he was meant to come over as hard but loving but that's not how I saw it. He would be mean one minute and then the next he was inviting her into his bed! I just didn't get it....it was a BIG grudge to hold over from childhood! This book is not what I thought it would be. The story hooks you into it and you have this need to KNOW what happens next. It twists and turns and fills in the gaps slowly but I loved the way it was written. It was frustrating and gripping all at the same time. Everyone rates books on their own scale and for me 5 stars means I read it from start to finish with only "necessary" breaks. Hope you enjoy it too. ...more

This book was soooo good. I didn't give it 5 stars just because I thought there was a lack of transition from Colt/Lily back to Cole/Rose. However, I loved the book and wish it wasn't a stand alone. Curious to see how their relationship would play out now... ...more
