I was really looking forward to this book after seeing lots about it but I was left a bit disappointed with the over all book.
I just felt that Cole/Colts behaviour in the first half of the book was irrational and very jumpy. I know he was meant to come over as hard but loving but that's not how I saw it. He would be mean one minute and then the next he was inviting her into his bed! I just didn't get it....it was a BIG grudge to hold over from childhood! Was different than I expected but not to say thats a bad thing. It had a good story line overall.

I did like this book, I had a hard time following it because alot of stuff went on it was pretty hot for most of the book. I really liked the characters except they went from one extreme to the other. I know it seems like I am complaining, I am not, I am going to re read it because I think maybe because I didn't grasp some of the content. The heat between Cole/Colt & Rose/Lily was extremely steamy. I'll redo my review once I re read it because I do think it is worth reading again. ...more
