WOW, Teresa Mummert sure know's how to mess with your head, what a complete and total mind FK!! Safe Word was nothing like I expected it to be. Since FSOG, safe word has come to mean something completely different to most of us ;-) so I wasn't sure what to expect from this read... there could not have been a more perfect name for this book! 3.5 Stars.
This book just didn't do it for me. There wasn't enough flow to it for me. We got lots of background on the characters but the present tense flipped back and forth. There didn't seem to be enough information as to what was going on in the present tense for me. Since when does a big mob boss, need to kidnap girls for ransom? Don't they make their money other ways usually? That part of the story line wasn't right to me. The epilogue was just strange as well.
