I enjoyed this book...probably not as much as others but I did enjoy it. This is probably the first book in quite some time that I could relate to. I mean, most of us, wives, at some time wonder what our lives would have been like if we hadnt married our husbands. Great to read a book about a couple that are married and in love.

Olivia and Dean West have been together for 6 years and married for 3 of those. He is a sexy hot professor at the local University with a bit of a fecked up family. Olivia comes from a pretty crappy background herself and she is 9 years younger than Dean.

Wow- I had hesitated to read this initially. BIG MISTAKE! Why? My main hesitation was wrapped around the fact that the main characters were already married when we are introduced to them. Thinking that there couldn't much excitement or anticipation surrounding a married couple was dead wrong. Honestly, I struggled at the beginning of this book to really embrace the characters and the story being told. As we explored more of how Dean and Liv became a couple from their first meeting I became addicted. This is a wonderful exploration of a married couple dealing with the daily issues many people face. I have to say that this book kind of drive me a little crazy.. I would say this is 3.5 stars for me as at times I just found the story and Liv's behaviour unbelievable and frustrating (but this is just my opinion).
I loved Dean West and as is any man he is not perfect but compared to most he is not far from it, he just has the same problem as most make species in that he doesn't talk when he should or when he needs to. But I am going to read Allure next as I did enjoy the story line enough to wan ...more

Wow, really ended up enjoying this book. Did take me awhile to connect with the main characters, particularly Dean. I just didn't understand the way he was with Liv. Sometimes she annoyed me too! It has left me very emotional though. Need a break from their story but will read the next soon as there is a small cliff hanger. All in all glad I finally read this book....... ...more
