I thoroughly enjoyed this story. To me, it set itself apart from other books in this category, or that I've read recently.
You meet Blue, she has decided to live the life that she wanted without getting attached. She did a good job of it until senior year of high school. Suddenly, her life is changing in ways she never expected. What a beautiful story of a little girl who was abandoned and received blow after blow of abandonment. Not knowing who she is, who she belonged to and then finding out that her father isn't who she thought he was. She was a hard girl with a hard personality and she pushed all the right buttons to keep her emotions at bay. I'm not great at writing reviews, after all I'm a reader not a writer, but when a book really touches me and I feel like every one should read it, i do my best to express it. So here it is... This was a 5 star read! The writing and flow of this novel was amazing. I didn't put it down and about 3 am this morning when I finished it, I knew this is a book I will be thinking about for a long time.
