Oh Kane Riley, how do you describe a man like that? His is the role model for the bad boy club for sure. Kelsey Rein is just starting college with her best friend Jessi and all she wants to do is a have a fresh start and find the person she once was before everything went bad in her life six years ago. Kelsey and Kane get together pretty fast but for them it just felt right. Kane reveals his past with her and she shares her past with him. She meets his grandparents, who are just great people over all and they see who special she is to Kane. Maw and Paw are great and one of my favorite scene was when Maw wacked Kane on the head with her wooden spoon. Now that is what I call some old fashion discipline. It was funny as hell to me. His grandparents have instilled some old fashion manners in this bad boy.

Jessi, the wonderful best friend, always there for Kelsey and you can’t help but just love her for all the support and just plain being there for her friend. She is there to warn her about Kane’s past and sees with her own eyes the feelings that are going on between Kane and Kelsey.

I would have liked some background on why Kane and Nate dislike one another and how Kane knew where to find her when Nate dragged her out of the Shots. I would have also liked to know what made Kane change his ways and leave the frat to live above the bar. The ending felt like it was rushed like other reviews I’ve read. The book was long but it was so good that you would have not noticed a few more pages. Some grammar and mis use of verbiage but if you can overlook that, you will enjoy the relationship of Kane and Kelsey.
