So this has been on my TBR for sooooo long. I got this one as an audio book and I'm really glad I did.
I LOVED this book.
It was so realistic and I felt like I went through so many emotions reading/listening to this story unfold.
Anna is such a sweet person and takes such wonderful care of TJ. It's wonderful going on the journey of him becoming a young man and the bond they develop with each other.
It was slow building and so sweet and innocent but so right.

Poignant – Delivered from the heart
I've had this book forever on my Kindle and I’m kicking myself for not reading it sooner! Currently, with over 2,000 reviews (damn where have I been?)on Amazon, my review will likely get overlooked and buried but I couldn't resist sharing my thoughts. Everyone should read this! I absolutely loved this book, it had me totally hooked and swept into Anna and T.J's life. The story was fantastic, completely different to anything i've read before. Great emotion to it. To be honest i had no problem with their age gap, nothing illegal happened and yet i still liked the way Anna showed her moral side to it too, questioning herself if it was right or not. Loved that they got their happy ending, they so deserved it! Brilliant book!

This book had me hooked as soon as the plane crashed!!Very unique story about survival. I enjoyed their connection and the coming of age of TJ who started this journey as a pissed off sixteen year old.
I have had this book on my TBR list for a very long time. After many recommendations from friends to read On the Island, I finally decided to start it while on vacation. My question to myself if "what took me so long to read this book?" On The Island is a beautiful story of two people who manage to make the best out of a horrible situation. The writing is flawless. The story is truly unique and beautiful. The characters are real and genuine. I read it in one day and am looking forward to reading
