What Members Thought
I enjoyed this and found it interesting however I thought the writing was uneven and I found the frequent shifting round and lack of consistency in narrative voices very disconcerting.
Type of book where the writing really takes you to the place it's describing and makes you feel the emotions being experienced by the main character. Stands as a real eye opener for many of us who watch the news and see pictures of those caught up in this conflict but might not think of their everyday lives.
