What Members Thought
A beautiful written book, Donal Ryan really can express feelings though words, often quite laconically. You feel the painful loneliness of a character from just a short sentence. The love felt by another in a brief paragraph.
But I couldn't help feeling that maybe there were too many characters. Despite everyone being just as well develop within a few pages, I can't help feeling fewer characters in more pages would have been five star.
