Good first book of the series. A little James Bondish with a different approach. Enjoyable, and hope the series is as good.

Definitely one of his weakest. Has too many fantasy-elements-which-don't-exist-in-real-life to make it work well. All in all, rudimentary. But as we know, Cussler gets better--much better--as his novels kept coming on. ...more
