What Members Thought
Seemed to me to be a bit of a throwback, really, but its many qualities won me over. The novel is very well written, and goes to the core of British espionage litterature. The recurring theme of threachery runs through most postWW2 spy fiction, but Cumming dares to take it on, and handles it well. Recommended.
A gripping modern twist to the Cambridge Five story. Splashes of realism.
Interesting, quick paced spy thriller but ultimately lacking in depth.
