I really liked this book, in large part because it did NOT feature Jack Ryan, (later to be known as "Jack F*ing Ryan"). The way the story was carefully and cleverly constructed to cover the beginning-to-end story of a possible Third World War reminded me of World War Z -- but without zombies! ...more
