What Members Thought
A classic of the genre, and well deserved. Le Carre's writing is superb ... characters, plot, tension, spycraft, suspense, etc. The ending of this novel I did not like, however (which I can't detail without spoiling it for new readers).

A must read. The language and story are exquisite. Thrilling and sad.

Starts out a little slow, but really picks up and turns out to be a fantastic book.
