1998 - While I admit it that I am totally hooked on the whole series, this is the first book and perhaps my favorite of all. Not because it's written better, just because it's the one that took me in. There is some sex stuff in the book so it's probably not appropriate for youngsters or prudes. The whole series gets a 5 star rating from me.
