3 stars. In the 1969 lead up to Prime Minister of England, Harold Wilson's visit to Nigeria, Paul Dark is sent to go in the country divided by war and infiltrate the Soviets. A few good events loosely strong together failed to capture my attention.

After a pretty interesting start this book just completely unraveled for me. One of those stories were the action is propelled by the characters making stupid choices. Not even the narration by Gerard Doyle could save it.
