Actually funny narrative of an unwilling spy recruit who finds success in her Majesty's service by making up intelligence. Like today's "fake news," the spymasters are more than eager to believe what they want to believe before looking for proof. If only real life were as funny as this.

Kind of a silly book in that it is sort of whimsical in nature. But in the end it has a bit of intrigue and is a bit of a real spy novel in very loose terms. Worth a read.
