What Members Thought
Its not well-done. I'm about halfway through and its just a slow, dull, tedious work of espionage. Unusual to discover this.
A shame, too-- because this author can actually write very competently. Rich prose. He simply wasn't bold enough in his novelistic goals here. Uncompelling main character. Setting is stale; the romance is trite and cliche...not enough intrigue. I'm completely bored with it so far.
Update: marking this to my 'abandoned' shelf because its so dismaying; I doubt I'll ever retur ...more
