Pretty dry terrain. Still, very valuable for its finely-detailed portrait of the hidden schisms underlying Wilsonian diplomacy in this usually murky, sanitized-by-history-books period in western society. You'd never see this stuff in any movie; its too..internecine. Hollywood and schoolbooks would have it that Wilson was simply the man who yearned for a 'League of Nations'.
