In this excellent spy novel, we are introduced to Milo Weaver, a Tourist, or clandestine officer for the CIA, who is used for protection, and assassanation. Milo works for Tom Granger who runs the operation out of offices in New York. Early on we find Weaver, who has his own secrets, being brought in to help another spy Angela Davis track down a missing spy who apparently stole $3,000,000. Spy Thriller

Readable and, in places, entertaining. A tourist, apparently, is an Agency factotum engaged in various nefarious overseas tasks that include assassination, blackmail and double-dealing. The particular tourist of this book experiences a life shattering series of events at about the same time as 9/11, and therein decides to retire. Very solid!

it took me awhile to get into this one. This book and or author is not for the rookie reader. but let me tell you once I got into it the twists and turns were non stop and had me guessing and questioning what I had just read. The character Milo Weaver is well researched and put together, in this day and age of.cookie cutter protagonists Milo stands above them all. Well I am now hooked and I am on to book #2 in the series. An excellent story in one of my favorite genres. Good spy novels are few and far between nowadays. Hopefully the popularity of this book will encourage a fresh spate of them!
